My goal here, in the short term, is to launch both a new MENTAL POP zine, as well as a 24 hour streaming radio station in early 2022, which will feature a collection of other great podcasts, independent bands, and much more. I'M NOT ASKING FOR MONEY OR DONATIONS (at least not at the moment), but what I am asking for is FEEDBACK. If you know of viable ways to engage a wider audience here (tips, tricks, or ideas) I'd love to hear from you. Likewise, if you know other podcasters with similar topics of discussion that you think would make good guests on MENTAL POP (or vice-versa), or whom you think would be interested in being featured on a 24 hour streaming radio station or writing articles for the zine, please drop me their links!
I am just one person with a full time job. But I'm taking this seriously and putting in the work and effort to make some personal goals materialize over the next several months. If you have any ideas or suggestions on anything I just mentioned, please shoot me a message or a voice mail. As the old saying goes, "It takes a village", and I'm looking for fellow tribe members. I have no delusions of grandeur with any of this, but if it can connect and network with 10 or 20 solid individuals, I think it can really have an impact in the real world. Maybe that's naïve of me, but I refuse to idly stand by and do nothing, say nothing, try nothing.
I'm seeking inventive and experimental methods of information/communication, and appreciate any and all responses to this "call out", even if you tell me to go F#%* myself...
